Dana Resources wants to take on Peruvian silver mines.

Dana Resources examines the acquisition of various silver-producing mines 16th February 2010, Las Vegas, Nevada (OTCBB: DANR) (FRA: Ød0), Dana Resources is a U.S. based development company for precious metals gold and base metal projects in advanced stages in Peru. The management
announces that further progress in the examination of several potential acquisitions of silver projects has been made. Dana Resources is currently evaluating several offers in the silver mining in Peru. The company is looking for mines, which already is funded and where it can be expanded by investing in the promotion of
the existing capacity to take advantage of the current metal prices. In particular, the company is interested in three specific acquisition candidates. Project 1 is a small silver-lead-zinc mine. Dana Resources is of the opinion that could be improved with minimal investment, the promotion of 50 tons per day within 12 months to more than 250 tons per day. The metal contents are 25 ounces of silver per ton, 7% lead, 7% zinc and 2
grams of gold per ton. On the basis of the following numbers could reach Dana Resources following cash flows:
At a production rate of 80% and processing costs of $ 250 per ton would make the company a year with a promotion of 50 tons per day an initial profit of almost $ 6 million. The due diligence process is still running.
Project 2 is located in the Huancavelica region. In this region for over 50 years, Silver promoted. From the mine Huacocolpa previously were about 25 million ounces of silver promoted from the mine Julicani

about 80 million ounces. Major mining companies in the area include on the TSX-traded companies such as Pan American Silver and Buenventura. The due diligence process is still running. Project 3 is an exploration project with several drill cuttings which point to a high incidence of low metal content. Initial calculations
of our geologists show that in the "indicated" up to 30 million ounces of silver are present, but is not supported here, but production could start with minimal capital outlay within a short time. The Company is continuing the due diligence and hopes to conclude a transaction in the coming weeks. Mr. Len DeMelt said: "Dana Resources is planning the acquisition of precious metals projects, funded in those already in order to generate
cash flows using the current high commodity prices. Our strategy is to acquire mines, where initially a relatively small investment needed to increase the funding will be. "
